OVERVIEW

 The work! application allows users to set their personal fitness goals; research and choose from hundreds of exercise routines; create a structured workout program; review their performance; track their fitness goals; and connect users with their trainer, family, and friends.

 

work! is designed to make it easy and fun to workout.

GOALS FOR THIS PROJECT

The work! application was created with beginning and advanced users in mind. 

For novice users, we wanted to provide an easy to use application that enables them to plan, begin, and track their workout experience. 

For advanced users, we wanted to provide an application that allows them to create and customize their workouts, track their progress, and connect with others.

MY ROLE

As the UX designer in the group effort for this project, I was charged with ensuring all the prototyping and graphic design needs for this project were met and documented.

 

Responsibilities included

 

Conceptualizing what the user flow would be.

Working with other designers in creating Lo-fi > Mid fi >  Hi-fi mockups of the pages which will be used.

Remote User testing to ensure that the flow is straightforward and intuitive.

Establishing KPI’s for mesurement of sucess.

AB testing different design concepts to ensure the goals are met.

Ensure the designs are viewable in all kinds of screen sizes.

Research on how the mobile app will interact with the watch app.
